Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Critical Power Sales Engineer to join our sales team. As a Critical Power Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and promoting our comprehensive range of critical power solutions. You will work closely with customers to understand their power needs, provide technical expertise, and develop tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, sales skills, and a customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities:

1. Business Development:

   - Identify and generate leads for critical power solutions through market research, networking, and proactive outreach.

   - Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and opportunities.

   - Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and action plans.

 

2. Consultative Sales:

   - Engage with prospective clients to understand their critical power requirements and challenges.

   - Conduct site surveys, analyze power infrastructure, and recommend suitable solutions.

   - Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations.

   - Collaborate with internal technical teams to develop customized solutions that align with client needs.

 

3. Relationship Management:

   - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, becoming a trusted advisor on their critical power needs.

   - Actively listen to client feedback and address any concerns or issues promptly.

   - Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to provide informed recommendations to clients.

 

4. Technical Expertise:

   - Develop a deep understanding of our critical power product portfolio, including UPS systems, surge protection, power distribution units, generators, and battery backup systems.

   - Stay abreast of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to critical power solutions.

   - Provide technical support to clients, addressing questions, conducting product demonstrations, and troubleshooting issues.

 

5. Sales Performance:

   - Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals on a consistent basis.

   - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system.

   - Collaborate with the sales team and management to analyze market trends, identify areas for growth, and develop strategies to expand market share.

 

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

- Proven track record in technical sales, preferably in the critical power industry.

- Strong understanding of electrical power systems, including UPS systems, generators, switchgear, and power distribution.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.

- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
