This USB active extension cable actively buffers the incoming and outgoing signals to ensure compliance with the USB 2.0 specification for electrical and timing minimums. Both low and high speed USB devices will function equally well with this USB active extension cable. This cable is ideal for electronic whiteboard applications when the distance is greater than 5 meters. Please Note: This cable is not intended to connect two computers together or to connect a USB hub between two computers. Doing so may cause irreparable damage to your computers. We offer a USB file share cable (#39987) to connect two computers.
