The 3u Kendall Howard KH-1908-3-001-02 triple rack fan panel mounts directly to your 19 inch wide rack providing instant airflow for your rack equipment. Comprised of (3) 115V 115 CFM fans this small and effective unit pumps nearly 345 cubic feet of air into your rack per minute. Add these fan panels to reduce heat and extend the life of your equipment.

Nice Fan

I added this fan inside a Linier 8U telecom enclosure. It seems powerful and well-made, albeit a little louder than I was expecting. It is more than adequate to diffuse the heat generated by my switches, HDHome Run, and a 3U server, but if I had it to do over again, I might get the regular speed fan assembly for its lower decibel rating. ion using the long through bolts was straightforward-- mine didn't come with the shorter black screws pictured in the drawing--and the fan is quite secure, but some dexterity was needed to thread the four nuts in a full enclosure. Read Less

Q: Two questions: 1) What is the noise level of this entire unit? 2) Can the fans be reversed to create an inlet fan unit? In essence, I need to install one of these units as an inlet fan and one as an exhaust fan.

A: Thank you so much for your interest in our fan panel, David! The panel has a noise level of 49 dbA. The fans can indeed be reversed in the field to create an inlet fan unit; they're mounted to the panel using a few screws each, so you'll just need to remove the screws, switch the direction of the fans, and then screw them back in.
