The Kendall Howard Vented Light Duty Rack Shelf constructed of top grade US steel that helps to maintain proper air circulation in your racks and cabinets. Rated to hold up to 45 lbs., this cantilever rack shelf is perfect for supporting monitors, switches and other lightweight network or A/V equipment.

The outside dimension from mounting ear to ear is 19" wide. Mounting center hole to hole is 18.313" wide. The actual width of the shelf surface is 17.13". If you are trying to mount something inside the shelf, I would say it is slightly under 17" wide. The shelf depth is 16".
