SKB 3i series material is 3.366 times the strength of the Pelican material, and 3.444 times the strength of the Hardigg Storm material. Even with a slightly thinner wall thickness, these cases exhibit 2.62 times the impact resistance of Pelican, and 3.32 times the impact resistance of Hardigg Storm.  To make the point clearer for my fellow redneck NASCAR fans, you could not break a SKB 3i series case with a 5 pound sledge hammer, swinging it as hard as you could!

These Injection Molded Military-Standard Waterproof Cases are molded of ultra high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin, featuring a gasketed, water and dust tight, submersible design (MIL-C-4150J) that is resistant to corrosion and impact damage.

3i Series Waterproof Shipping Case Features:

  • Continuous molded-in hinge.
  • Patent pending "trigger release" latch system.
  • Comfortable, snap-down rubber over-molded cushion grip handle.
  • Automatic ambient pressure equalization valve (MIL-STD-648C).
  • Resistance to UV, solvents, corrosion, fungus and impact damage (MIL-STD-810F).
  • Padlockable with a customer supplied lock.
  • 3I-2011-7B and 3I-2015-10B cases feature a pull-handle and roller blade wheels.
